Being new to Forums is definitely different then browsing a normal website. Since I just realized that I didn't have help and instructions on here, and they are badly needed, I present to you usage, instructions, how to find the info, post info, tips, tricks and fun!

This will continue to be added upon, but I wanted to get something started immediately.

If you go to the homepage at http://www.ssbforums.com .... you will see a list of 3 "Forums". The top one I just added is the one you are in and reading! You've made it this far!

The second is the "Silver Blab", this is where you click to find ALL the conversation, tips, questions, etc... This is also where you will want to post your achievements and questions for the 'pro' players in the world to help out. Many of us are playing all the time and are very happy to take phone calls and help you figure out what you can do to improve your game, so don't hesitate to Private Message (aka PM) me or Del (Deadeye) with questions. A Private Message is the equivalent of an e-mail, but you must access it by logging on to the board and going to your message box. All of you immediately had a private message welcoming you to the board, so that's the same place to go to read and/or send messages to other members.

Inside of the "Silver Blab", there are more Forums for contests / Player Locator / etc. which all contain more topics. You are highly encouraged to add your information to the Player Locator so out-of-towners or local players that don't know you can contact you to play! Underneath those begins the Topics (aka Threads) where you can ask questions, learn about achievements, post your own, or just browse for information. There is a search link at the top if you are looking for something specific and can't find it. Also - there are multiple pages of topics/threads/posts, so make sure you click on 'next' to view the next page of posts!

You can create Topics, or you can reply to the thread inside the topic by clicking "Post Reply" or just filling out the quick replay box and clicking submit!

So - to hit up "SSB 101 - Understanding the Variables", it is one of the top Threads in the "Silver Blab" section.

If you are bored - hit up the game section and see if you can beat the current records for some fun games, or be the first to play a new game and own the record!

Much more help coming soon! Don't ever worry about asking anything!!! This Forum is designed for several reasons. 1) Create a community of Silver Strike players so we can get together and have fun and/or players can host well known local and nationwide open entry tournaments with sponsorship. 2) Educate those who love the game but haven't had the ability to learn what the top players have. 3) Increase play so we don't lose the game we have - but build on it! 4) Increase awareness of the current happenings / tournaments / upgrades / and all the ways to win money by playing! (Very few people I talk to understands that you can win money in EVERY game you play - competing in Prize Play)
